Has anyone tried this Open Source i.e. free simulator. If so , what are the results like , and do you have advice on what to choose from a. aircraft and b.scenery available

Don't bother replying. I tried it, and gave up on it, so I have deleted it, and by some miracle have got FS9 working on my new W10 computer, with frame rates between 80 and 300!
