FSX AI Traffic problem fixed.

Post by Airspeed »

I've had trouble with my ORBX favourite airports, Moorabbin and Avalon.
Main problem was missing AI aircraft.
We managed to work through many possibilities without insult either way.
ORBX FSX AI traffic will not appear if there are any FS9 AI files present. (don't know if such affect other FSX AI)
Having shunted every doubtful file to another drive, the problem persisted.
They put me onto AI FLIGHT PLANNER V3. You blokes probably already knew about this.
This programme has the option to find any FS9 files, and convert to FSX files.
It found a couple in a Tasmania add-on scenery file. Why there? :dunno:
Short result is that now I have my AI back.
Anyone interested, here's the link

I'm going back to see what other "stuff4fs" they have.

Yup, any FS9 traffic file will kill all FSX native traffic. As you've found, it can be a pain to find the offending file. Some Devs put their traffic files in with their scenery to keep all the files in one place, can make uninstalling the scenery easier so things don't get left behind.
AIFP is a good program. Been using it for years.
