Well thank goodness I only use my Oculus Quest 2 for X-Plane 11 rFactor 2 racing and Dirt Rally 2.

I was not keen having to join Facebook just to use the Quest 2 to but at least I can remain hidden so no-one knows I am there!!

Also hate to think that midway through a first person shooter firefight that the game pauses for an advert!! :wall:

Nigel.

Who says they won’t inject them into XPlane or RFactor or whatever, that’s where it’s going. Approaching Heathrow and you get a banner up “welcome to Geathrow, brought to you by Virgin Atlantic” 😂

Something else I don't need to buy then. Along with sports I have no need to follow anymore. All this virtue signaling and kneeling just acts as a turn off. :cpu:

I just cannot understand why Mark Zuckerberg demands that those who want to buy the Quest 2 have to be on Facebook or else it won't work for you.

Just hope that somebody appeals this decision and wins.

Even though I had to join, I do not show up on Facebook and will never have my account made public.

Its so that they can track your use and then ultimately inject advertisements into your experience. You don't need to be "on facebook." The minute you have an account they can track all they need.
