Sound problems - cure

Post by biffo466 »

 Covered here and on other sim forums is the problem with Audigy sound-cards and certain a/c (for me it was the VC10 & 748).
I have Audigy2 and cleared the problem by not using Creative drivers.
Anyone experiencing lockups after howls/squeals/silence etc should go here:
http://kxproject.lugosoft.com/index.php?skip=1
and download/install this:
kxdrv3537-full.exe
This is a replacement driver for the Audigy2 [and others]. Installation is simple and straightforward and best of all - it works

Thanks for posting that Biffo.

Hopefully that'll see the end to this problem

No problem. I am over the moon with the fix as I love the VC10 having spent many passenger miles in them whilst in the mob. Just hope it helps others as it did me

I'm sure they've been posted before, but those drivers are far superior.... not that I would use a Creative product
