I was being lazy with the fuel so I will calculate it more accurately on my next flight and see what happens. However that is not what happens in RL where if you fly a multi-leg flight you don't necessarily refuel at each stop. I will keep an eye open for weights. I was flying the JF Dove. I am now basically just on P3Dv4 so limited for choice on planes.

Hi Richard

I've set you up a TR for 748 & Vanguard.
Just complete 2 of the training flights for each and I'll bump you up to full rating.

Cheers
David

Hi David
Thanks for that, 748 flights completed, Will let you know when I have done the 2 Vanguard legs.

Thanks

Richard
Hi Richard, upgraded you to full 748 pilot.

I don't know if I am supposed to do just 2 TR flights and regain my rating or go for 4. I have just done 2 in the DH89.

Hi SImon
2 is all that's needed to regain full rating on a type you've had before.
I've put you on full rating for DH89.

Cheers

Dave,

Thanks I will get my type ratings back up on those props I can run in P3Dv4. One question, however, I seem to remember the Dove used to be run as a sort of 'hack' for want of a better word. Can one still use it between airports where there are no scheduled flights and if so how?

Hi Simon
No, the Dove wasn't able to fly wherever you wanted. It always had set routes.
I think it was just that they had no bases and could be left anywhere. All the other types, you're expected to return them to base at some point.
