I realise I'm insufficiently numerate, but when it comes to axes, I can only count to 3.Please Tonks put us out of our misery and identify the other 3!

It probably refers to the degrees of freedom of the sim cockpit itself... like you can have a five axis milling machine (useful for milling CF compressors in fact).

I used to have BoB and MiG Alley, I couldnt get the darn things to work though, unless I used the worst graphics settings :? The next offering from the developers of IL2 will be a BoB sim, rumoured for release late 05/early 06 (I think). I will be looking foward to that, it waill apparently be a major step up from the IL2 series 8)
