Is there a way to get the Vangaurd to work in FSX? It's pretty much the 2D panel that comes up blank and there's no VC, but perhaps there wasn't VC to begin with then.

I just had a go at ressurecting my Vangaurd, but I can't get the engines to start. I thought perhaps it may be an FSX bug, but then re-read the previous posts that many do use this in FSX. Has anyone had any issues with engine start in FSX before?

Also, any released VC to date?

Thanks.

Hi Ant

Are you using all the latest files from this site?

There is no VC, this is a upgraded 2002 original, there will never be a VC for this model

Hi Gary, I think I did download it again yes, I'll check that. Have there been issues with any updates?

HI Ant

The file her in the VA section are the latest and the best :)

There have been issues with several models when old, non official of mixed downloads have been used.

Tee download here has the latest panel, airfile and cfg and from out point of view it is those files that are being supported so files form other sources may not fit in with advice given on those particular files.

I'm not aware of any issue but there are some her who use the Vanguard i FS.X so are better suited to comment.

Check the Vanguard panel folder, I have 2 CFG files, the one I use called panel.cfg and a second one called panel_fs9.cfg

Check yours perhaps you have a panel called panel_fsx.cfg that you need to rename to panel.cfg for it all to work?

(Can't remember myself and not in a position to re-download and check the files).

Yes I did the panel rename.

I wonder if it's just one of those bugs I have with a few fs9 models for fsx. I have difficulty starting the Viscount also. :dunno:
