Another ex-RAF airfield adapted for GA use. The whole area is a bit of an aviation desert, so it is not suprising that they host up to 40 aircraft and micro-lights there.

There is also Acklington (now a prison), Tranwell (now a cart track and point-to-point venue), Ouston (now an army depot) and Usworth (now a Nissan factory)

Go back far enough and my home town had a seaplane base ;)

For those of you who live in the 'Cider Belt' of S/W England, you can now pick up this airfield from FlightSim.com.......................... at a very reasonable price!!

Has anyone here using this scenery had problems with not seeing the static micro-lights and homebuilts?? I have an e-mail from a guy who cannot see them, and wanted to check that I did not screw something up!!
