Trident Throttles

Post by TSR2 »

Hi Chaps,

An odd one,

I'm en route from Malta back to Heathrow and climbing out of Malta in the T2 is very flat. I check all the usual stuff, top temp is on, but N1 wont go above 90%. If I advance the throttles full forward, after 2 or 3 seconds they jump back. As a result I'm struggling to climb, I'm only able to sustain 500Ft/m.

Has anyone come across this before (In FSX) *-)

I was once flying a Concorde and it slowed up considerably and I couldn't get it back to Supersonic.

After I'd tried everything except the obvious, I gave up, popped outside (as real as it gets eh!!) and saw the wheels were down :$

What's the outside air temp? If it's up around where it was today, then I'm not surprised. The engines are temp limiting because of the high temperature (30*C+), which is what they're supposed to do.
