That's the long and short of it George.. you can make it look better but you can't make it go away as far as I'm aware ;)

Now I dont have a problem with the prop in FSX - I used to have a dark area with port overs, but I think it was after installing Acceleration it went away......its a long time ago for my brain to remember....
I certainly have no problem with either Balliol in FSX. BTW I do not run DX10.

It is there Keith but the prop texture is so feint, you really have to look hard to see it. To be honest, I've not seen a better FS9 prop in FSX ;)

Thanks Dave - you're a gent, always said so. ;)
Nearly invisible props in the V.C. are a result of Martin nagging me. He quite rightly reminds me that you're not normally aware of the prop when flying along in a real-world aircraft. It only really becomes visible when the sun reflects off it. Also, no wagon-wheel prop effects on our models.
Cheers

DaveB, yes I agree it is very feint, nothing like it used to be before acceleration loaded.

All out of the tin - acceleration.

I am highly delighted with both models in both sims. Many thanks again to Dave and the team. :welldone:

You can just see it against the cloud and hangar in those shots but as I said, the prop blur is so feint.. you don't notice the effect. If I'd not been specifically looking for it, I'd have presumed this was an FSX native model ;)

I've only got the RN one up to now.. think I might pull one of the RAF paints for good measure
