During WW2 I think that there were also "Air Bomber" (badge B in a Wing), who used to be called a 'bomb aimer', training domes and towers.

Gordon , thanks for sharing this . As a Naarfick Boi I've not seen it since 1983 when last in Langham . Henri Labouchie're [ big in the Tigermoth world ] , gave permission to visit . It was very '' agricultural '' then ; and we were told it had been used for training Navigators to take ''star'' shots , as in a mini planetarium . A good use for the lottery to help us '' remember them ''
I'm surprised there's no stories of it being Roman ... as Naarfick is very much a '' Roman county '' ... there again perhaps I'm biased , being a Venta Icenorum Boi.
