Barracuda alert over at Rob's place! :) Screenie shows to be from P3D v4. I hope this doesn't mean Rob will no longer build for FSX. :(

Uninstalled FSX some time ago as P3D has everything, and more, that I want.
Blender has tools for both sims but my setup is P3Dv4 only.
Now if I were charging money (unlikely) that would probably be a different matter.

Charging money!! Wash your mouth out Rob

I don't think you actually NEED FSX to make a P3D model compatible Rob.. a copy of the P3Dv1 SDK is (I understand) sufficient. Any new P3D model will crash FSX in an instant but a new model compiled with the P3Dv1 SDK won't. Rick and DG have been doing this for a while with Rick's Hawk T2. It does need to be compiled twice.. one for v4 and the other with the v1 SDK for FSX but other than that.. they're good to go. The Hawk T2 would be further advanced than it already is but they're waiting for TP to catch up ;)

All this I know, at least I think I know.
With Blender in full P3Dv4 mode and using the v4 SDK all is fine with me.
If I want to make the model FSX compatible all the animations have to be re-assigned, takes a bit of the fun out of it!
"Dont look back" I always say!
I could, of course, use the older SDK but.....

I can certainly understand you not wanting to take the fun out of it Rob. That would do it for me too ;)
