Interesting to see how this one pans out. Looks promising, but I'll wait and see how they're going to handle 3rd party addons etc. It's certainly causing lots of heated debate on some forums!
Looking at the required hardware, my video card isn't up to spec anyway, so I'll probably have to pass on it for now.

I suppose that will apply to many of us. My NV is a 660Ti is waaay too old but I do not see myself upgrading any time soon. Silly prices for graphics cards. Even my CPU, an i5 6600K is bare minimun for XP which is stopping me bothering with that sim. :dunno:

Good lord.. I'm already a sim behind on the hardware front. Will have to see if Sainsbags can give Alison some more hours

Once P3Dv4 ( assuming it's 64 bit ) and FSW have been out a year, and we know how they compare, I'll make a decision about which one to take up. If the advantages outweigh the lack of backward compatibility with add-ons, I'll be happy to bin what I've got and move forward. PMDG has already stated that they will update their NGX for P3Dv4 free of charge, so that might sway me.

Some interesting reading here from the boss of PMDG, Robert Randazzo:

And a thread started a couple of days later:

Tried to sign up for newsletter etc........"...trouble processing your request, please try again."
And again
And again :wall: :wall:
Then I read Paul's links, and thought, maybe not so bad that I was refused.
THEN I saw Rick's post.
