CS Boeing 707 in P3Dv3 - frame rate fix

Post by Paul K »

All this recent talk of the J.F. VC-10 made me think of the Captain Sim Boeing 707. This is an aircraft I've sorely missed in P3Dv3, because of very poor framerates when in VC view. Today I found a cure and thought I'd pass it on. It's probably the most simple 'fix' I've ever come across for any problem in FSX/P3D:

I tested it before and after, and the difference is very noticeable. In fact, the 707's framerates are now comparable to those of the CS 727, and that one has been updated for P3Dv3. It is lovely to have the 707 back again. :)

EDIT: If you have any of the expansions installed, such as the cargo version or the E-3, they have their own panel configs which must also be edited. :)
