Sea Vixen

Post by Aviationcafe »

Hi,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows where to purchase the Sea Vixen from Skysim?

Also I'm wondering what the view/standing would be if I took a good friend up on his offer to zip the files up so I can fly the aircraft in the sim?

Thanks in advance

As far as I know 2 of the developers left Skysim some time ago and the website does not appear to be active. Regarding whether or not to take up the offer from a friend to have a copy of his aircraft, then that decision is yours to make.

You could try this one from Fly Away Simulations, don't know what it is like but you would certainly avoid any problems with having to register!!

Ooops, my bad. I think that the Sea Vixen from Fly Away Simulations is only an AI aircraft.

Nigel.

This question is running on Simviation forums just now. Someone appears to have offered to share in a PM. The Simviation Administrator appears to be criticising the respondent for not sharing on the forum. I think the Vixen will still be in copyright and should surely not be published on a forum.

As far as I'm concerned, it would be piracy to share it, unless permission is obtained from the copyright holder.
It may not be on sale anywhere, but that doesn't mean it can be shared.

Thank's for that Dave. I'll keep looking for the aircaft on the likes of ebay etc as now and again boxed versions of flight sim products crop up on there.
