Good morning.
Looking at the read me for the FSX Vanguard in the library it says it has been updated and has an FSX native model included. I cannot see a native model in the file and wondered if anyone can point me to it.

Many thanks

I've got CBFS_Vanguard_FSX.zip which I downloaded from the site some time ago (I see the FSX VC9 is now two parts, maybe I have both).

It is an FS9 model ported to FSX file structure but works just fine in FSX, I've never had a problem with it running FSX.

The FSX packs in the library are just port overs but with the FSX/P3d file structure.
There are native models available in this thread:

Many thanks for your swift replies. Alas the link in the other thread leads to a 404 error (file) not found and I cannot see the file name in the library.

It May have time expired or been deleted which is a shame. I would be grateful if anyone who has the model file could pass me a link or stick it in the library.

Again many thanks

The link definitely works, I downloaded it this morning just before I posted to check.
Try this link:

How do those differ from the "ported over" versions?

Hi

For me it allows the use of a virtual cockpit. Currently slaved a Viscount cockpit.

Being FSX native, they don't suffer from the usual port over issues such as prop textures disappearing behind clouds, and being able to alias a different VC model if desired. They're also usable in P3d v4 whereas FS9 models are not.

JJDC. Could you tell me please. How do you slave the cockpit from a Viscount? I prefer a VC now.
