However, I feel so knackered now that I might just wait till tomorrow to fly it, if I can find how to load it!
I'm not surprised Peter if you had been up all night as you wrote, when you finally get airborne do't forget to post some screenshots.

Regards
Nigel.

My own new computer build has been put on hold..... since I can't seem to get hold of a new RTX3080 graphics card!
My poor old GTX980 has a heart attack on this new flightsim when I fly over built up areas!

Indeed it's been a while! I became bored tbh And haven't done any simming for years and yeas but this new flightsim has rekindled my interest.
The live streaming textures from bing maps and the AI buildings really is a game changer.... I mean it's no longer just flying over empty spaces between airports, you look out the window and it really is the whole world outside.
I've been just flying over places like Alaska, and also places like that national parks in Colorado, Utah, Arizona ect just staggered at how good the scenery is!

This new sim does seem to enjoy loads of ram, I have 64gb installed and I've seen up to nearly 40 being used when flying!
I was going to go with an Intel i9 10900k but tbh I'm going to go with AMD this time around. All of the new graphics cards and NVMe SSD's are now PCIE Gen 4 which no Intel platform supports yet.

Getting near Entebbe on the northern shore...

After refuelling at Entebbe, I am away again now on the next leg to Juba and the weather looks a bit threatening!

Anyway, I got there alright after several thunder storms! BTW I am not getting any raindrops on my windscreens while passing through heavy rain...Anyone else got this bug?

There is a group of people doing mods to the default G36 Bonanza which is compatible with the G1000 improvement mod if you fancy taking Little Bandit up for a spin again :)

https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/g ... -09/216094

I've tweaked it a bit so the one I have is turbonormalised B-)
