I got pushed into night flying on the way to Port Elizabeth but I’m very impressed with the Stars in the new sim...You can easily see the Pleiades in these three pictures as well as the inverted “V” of Taurus with Aldebaron at its lower right in two of them:-

I was just thinking the same myself, flying from London City to Liverpool this evening. I departed fairly due North and the plough was straight ahead. Lining up the pointer stars I would have been heading straight towards Polaris, although it being high up in the sky it was out of view in the cockpit.
I know there was a addon sky map for Fsx, which was supposed to be quite accurate, but I never never bothered to install it.

This YouTube is a very blurred copy of my very sharp one!!

I don't think I will bother with YouTube again after all this effort to get my video completely ruined!

Hi Peter, in youtube on the bottom RHS of the video there is a little cog icon. If you click on this and switch it to HD (it is auto by default) it should be fine. First time I played it was clear as a bell, second time it was blurry until i changed the setting.

Thanks again Ben...Yes that fixed it...I set that to 1080 and it was nicely sharp. After that I brought my settings down from Ultra to High End and this gave a good improvement on motion.
