If everything we see in this video is an integral part MSFS 2020 then it really must be a sim to be reckoned with. To run something like this I would need to consider replacing my less than 3 year old pc. I’ll be keeping an eye on developements.
However if ever that day came I would really want to hold on to my FS9 because of some of the classic older models that I have.
This hobby becomes more and more absobing.

Depends really on what your computer specs are Eric, here is a You Tube Video regarding computer requirements to run MS2020.

Hello Peter, that X Cub is rather a nice looking aircraft and would be good for flying in areas with only grass airstrips in mountainous regions especially with large tyres.
When I watched the video of that aircraft when it turned into the glare of the sun, it reminded me of one flight I had in the K8 Glider, we were using RW24 at RAF Swinderby and launching directly into the sun early evening, had a few thermals and on flying back to rejoin circuit my vision looking ahead was just about the same as your picture and a devil of a job to know whether or not anything was ahead of me in circuit, once I made a 180 deg turn and had the sun behind on the downwind leg, the visibility was perfect.
Never had I experienced that sort of glare/reduced forward visibility like that before or since.

Nigel.

Hi Nigel, I did all my gliding instructing at Bovingdon...Then when we were kicked out of there because we were under a Heathrow holding pattern and they wanted to put a VOR there...So we moved operations to Manston. It was all great fun and I enjoyed it...

Hi Peter, grand photograph though strangely enough all the photographs I took when flying at the club have been lost which is a bit of a shame.
Never flew the open cockpit T21 but our club was somehow given an ex-ATC T21 with canopy (probably because no other self respecting RAFGSA Club would take it). Had a number of flights in it but was not really impressed with the performance.
Had to have a look at the map for where Bovingdon is and to move your club to Manston is a hell of a long way from Bovingdon!! That move may well have stopped a few from going all the way to Manston to glide.
Regards
Nigel.
