Filling in the gaps of my GB scenery.

Post by DogTailRed2 »

Hello,

I'm missing the following areas for Great Britain.

Jersey (never released for Gen-X)
Isle of Man (only released as download for Gen-X)
Northern Ireland (never released for Gen-X)

Any suggestions on free or payware (that's resonably priced) that would fill in these gaps?
Ideally VFR scenery however open to suggestions on anything that looks nice.

Thanks,

Ted.

Tony Meredith finished Jersey that ES started, and released it as freeware. I downloaded it from ARM, Tony's site, and it is very good. However, when I looked today, the site is nowhere to be found.

Tony also did several stand alone airfields, which were also very good. Does anybody know what happened to him?

:dunno:

Yes a lot of old threads refer to ARM but like you say it's gone.
Was hoping to get a new ESI installer from them but sadly no.

I found a download for the Channel Islands which includes Alderney, Guernsey and Scilly.

Do you know if these are the Earth Sims versions?

Have you installed them?

Installed but not flown yet.
The file names don't match so I don't think so. Won't know for sure until flown I guess.

btw if I place this scenery under my Gen-X scenery for the same areas will it fill in the gaps or just go horribly wrong?

I've no idea if that will work. Maybe disable Gen-X first?
