Thansk for the HU Pete. Flies nicely. A big thanks to the design team.

Just had a quick trundle. Lovely job. Takes me back to when I was going 'up country' in Aden '66.

Thank you for the memories and for the forthcoming flying.

I'd be very grateful if someone could post a few interior and exterior pictures of Manfred's new Beverly. Neither FSX or P3D is installed here, and so I'm not able to get a good look. No doubt it's a super model, as all of MJ's aircraft are.

I too would be interested as Paul is in what the cockpit looks like, had a search around but nothing came up.

Great news - wonderful model- worth the wait.

As an Air Training Corps cadet had 17 trips in nine different aircraft out of Abingdon - including many "one ton drops" - mostly in the tail boom but on one occasion sat in the load masters dropping window over the nose wheel during co pilot training -exhilarating.

Visited the only survivor (after the RAF Museums infamy)at Fort Paull last year.

Like most have been using Ralph Pegrams as modded by Lazarus and the vc modded in fsps to match the Pilots Notes.

Manfred's was always going to be a quantum leap and am a happy bunny flying it out of the Abingdon add on scenery.
Cant wait for the repaints.

She's a big lump, but is very docile and easy to fly.

I don't remember SOH being this slow. Still coming down at 62kb/sec, and timing out, with no resumption option.
Are they like Flightsim.com, giving faster d/l when you pay for first class?

Sorry for your issues Mike and as a member of staff at SOH I can assure you that there is only one speed for downloads at the library.

Is it just SOH that is giving you problems or are other non-Oz sites slow too? I am wondering in case it's a bigger issue of getting data into and out of the counter-weight continent.

Hi Larry,
Thanks for your reply.
I ran a speed test, which reported d/l was 13Mbs.
That is never achieved in real life, 1-and-bit Mbs is as good as it gets.
I have been able to d/l from other sites around the 1 mark.
I don't know if it's strictly within the rules, so I won't name the knight in shining armour who put their copy on Dropbox, so I now have it. :excited:
