Thanks for those kind words Paul. OK. Were you thinking of re-issuing the Luton Minor because I did quite a few paints for that?
Will dig out the Cirrus FS9 paint files and update and post to Flightsim.com!

Very pleased to the effect that I have all the instruments displayed and now working
I couldnt get the original magnetic compass tape gauge to work, for some reason it would only display between 30 and 60 degrees. Not very helpful if your heading was out of that range !
I found a freeware fsx gauge which i added to the panel. When recompiling the legacy folder it somehow altered scale factor of all the gauges Managed to get them back to size and all working
The addon compass is a bit out of position and the pointer is missing ?? But it works nevertheless. Just a bit more to do
The Swallow makes a great platform for sightseeing

The Cirrus paints are now up at Flightsim.com. I hope they still work as I do not have FS9 on my new computer!

Edit: I have noticed a error in the repaints cfg file and have uploaded a correction to Flightsim.com. Cfg entries for the paints should be:

 Cheers to Peter - you make us model builders look good
Paul, I created 5 paints for the Luton Minor in both FS9 and FSX formats but never did anything with them as you were still working on the model. I still have them if you decide to continue with the model!

Dale - looks even better now :), it looks so smooth in the new sim.
If you feel it's good enough then do please share it around.

Pete - hang on to them, I've still got a bit more to update on the model, including the with or without headrest models.
However, I'm still getting to grips with FSX itself at the moment. So many tweeks and downloading to do.

Thanks for the encouraging comments Paul. I have the compass squared up now, but the pointer refuses to appear. Not totally given up yet, but getting close.
As clickable objects are not supported in legacy aircraft, switching on the mags and starting up has to be done with key presses.
I will post a few pictures in the gallery this week.
Glad that you are happy for the model to be shared. I certainly wouldn't do it without your say so.
There's not much in the way of aircraft for Msfs out there yet, and most are lacking instruments. So I would say the Swallow is better than most.
If you Pm me your email I will send you the files.

Hi Dale - Just go for it, you have my approval to do what you like with the MSFS version, especially if there's a lack of models out there.

I don't have MSFS at the moment, may be a while before I get a new PC for it.

Cheers,
Paul

Thanks for that. Perhaps I should look at all my other paints for FS9 that were up on Britsim and see what might be worth re-issuing.

Peter, because your repaints are of high quality, and well-researched, I think they are important to preserve by uploading. Interest in FS9 is still strong, and there is a new generation of people (like myself) who weren't online at Britsim 10 years ago, but are interested in what was produced back then.
