Hi Rob

I think at the moment you can only build it up and then do whatever you think fit

I think the site would be difficult to plan as such because a lot is unknown about who it appeals to until it's there.

I think it will evolve over a period of time to demand.

You have enough to do just getting the stuff there.

To go about it as you are with an enthusiastic open mind and no firm committment is the very best you could do at the moment.

I for one am just so grateful that you have taken this on and wish you all the best on the project.

Rob

I think you will find that word of mouth will get around - plus if you can persuade some people to link to your site that will speed the plough as well.
Personally I see the whole thing as a triumph for this little group of fanatics
it means we are growing instead of stagnating....go for it mate

I'll link to it also. Btw, a donations jobby might help with bandwidth costs for your site, I for one would be willing to contribute.

I'm trying to avoid that at the moment.

I'm not sure how much i'll need, I have 1tb transfer a month currently and can easily scale up to as much is needed.

It is a very good idea, and the website is great.
Just a suggestion, but could the files be sorted bs simulator as well - (ie. FS2002 files are listed seperatly.)

Thanks;

Our force make the Amish look technologicly advanced so thankfully not

We are indeed talking a Terabyte, well not quite, 1000GB so 24 short.

Still more than enough, the disk space is 20GB so that should be enough for a while too.

The server is located in America though so we'll have to see how fast it is when it gets stressed.

I've been getting pretty good speeds though so far thankfully.

I've just reuploaded the Viscount repaints i deleted by mistake yesterday and am just sorting their thumbnails, they seem to have got muddled.

Just got to warm up a little before doing more, it actually snowing a little here and the dog needed walking
