Change of email addresses..

Post by DaveB »

Hi Guy's.

Some of you will already be aware of this but for those that aren't.. if you make a change to your email address (in your profile), the forum is setup to consider you a new member and your account will have to be reactivated by either me or Ben. You will not 'appear' as the newest member but the system will see you as such.
This has been a necessary security precaution to try and keep out the current rash of computer generated spam members we've been seeing so hang in there and either Ben or I will get you sorted in short order

Regards

I have no intention of doing that, but i am curious.

Unless the admin in question decides to play around with the numbers (i.e. *my* post count in the Simviation forums is "a whole lot" which comes about when you reach over 100,000 - real or otherwise)
