Dave G's Hunter makes it to BBC national TV!!!!

Post by Trev Clark »

Just been shown a recording of Monday's Bargain Hunt which paid a visit to Tangmere!

The presenter (chap with half moon glasses and a moustash, not sure of antiques presenters names) was shown flying the Tangmere sim. This incuded several shots of the panel and external model of WB188 by Dave Garwood. The museum staff had trouble getting the presenter of it.....he may be called Tim Wannacott?

The whole sim feature lasted about a minute. I am trying to get some screen shots sorted in the next few days, if poss.

Neat! I'd love to see the pics. I believe I've actually seen a few episodes on TV here in Texas. That's the show where the guests are split up into teams and go around buying stuff to sell at auction to try to turn a profit...correct?

That's the one Brian, sadly we'll probably have to wait until 2008 to get it shown on BBCA (BBC America).

 You're probably correct, Chris. KERA channel 13 might show the episode but, like you said, it'll probably be awhile before we see it. Serves us right for leaving England to settle over here in the first place.
