Easy way to blend in a flatten????

Post by Trev Clark »

I am afraid I am going a bit mad here! I (for the life of me) cannot seem to make a 'flatten file' blend in with the surrounding scenery (Horizon VFR mesh). I know the theory using FSX KML but (triangles) but the fact that a poly is difficult to make and annotate in Google earth and then FSX KML adds a vertex AND reverses the order of them (if I understand correctly!!!)

I am getting in a real 2 and 8!! I just need someone who has done this a lot to be standing over me!

Has anyone found a better way or seen a good idiots guide to help me? My scenery designing career is in danger of falling 'flat..ten' if I cannot get a handle on this. Thorney was a flat island, so it was simple, all the others I am trying to build have a slope of sveral meters with the surounding countryside. If only FSX would let you have an airfield (or runway) with a hill in it!
