Volunteers please. Crash test dummies for Moorabbin.

Post by Airspeed »

G'day All,
A few days back, I thought I was ready to upload the add-on aircraft for Moorabbin Air Museum.
"Not so fast," said Mr Reality. I will spare you the details, but tonight I again think I have it together.

Time will tell.

I am now requesting volunteers to download the zip, just over 6Mb, and try it out, whether you have ORBX Australia or not, as i hope it will work with default FSX Moorabbin. Only you can tell me.
Comments may be left here, by direct email (see README), PM, or messages on Airspeed's Flying Visit.
The zip is on the Downloads page at "AFV", just click on the button next to the PM icon.
OR, the following link should take you there:

https://sites.google.com/site/airspeeds ... /downloads :cpu:

Looking forward to hearing from you.

It works fine with the default scenery, the only problem is that the aircraft are in someone's back garden :)

Hi Mike :hello:

Looks OK in ORBX, but the Bristol Freighter is missing. Texture files are there, but not the bgl.

Thanks for your participation Gents!
Colin, I see from George's screenie that the Freighter is missing, so this looks like a problem.
I downloaded it, then checked the listing in Scenery. The Bristol is second on the list, so I'm mystified.
I'll shift my original and insert the download. Will come back with an EDIT soon.

:$ :$ :-O :-O :$ :$ :( :(
How does that happen??
Investigated, and IS2 told me that an error was introduced during a previous session.
It offered to fix the problem, but got nowhere.
Rebuilt through SAMM2, and it then worked. Managed to confuse myself with so many copies of close vintage, and deleted the corrected folder. :$
Short story is; V2 is now on the same site if anybody is game! I'd rather be embarrased among friends than on the OzX site, if you don't mind!
I've modded the README to add more, along with the news that it doesn't look too good in default FSX. The README V2 now suggests that I may try to add the building etc. for default users.
