Thanks Mike -
Yes, we've extracted the photos of the restoration - it was yellow then - but still looked really pretty - honest.
Cheers

Re: The Walrus for FS9
Interesting to see that interior, Dave. I'm happy to see that you've made such progress. Nice one.
I'd never given much thought what they look like inside.
From the polished scuff marks under the pedals, the pilot had to work hard to get up speed for take off.

Yes Simon - the 'Shagbat' or 'Steam Pigeon' depending on whether you were talking to your mates or maiden Aunt.
Final work is coming along nicely but I never set launch dates though.

Re: The Walrus for FS9
A quick note to tell you that the Walrus is now up for beta testing over in the Design Loft at britsim.com .
However the Design Loft is in the restricted Venture part of the forum but I might move it into the open area
The aircraft is painted in the colours of L5N W3026 which sported non-standard fuselage roundels
Cheers

Re: The Walrus for FS9
Now released over at Flightsim.com.
The aircraft is for FS9 remember, and as a result doesn't like water much in FSX
Cheers

Hm - perhaps this should really have been posted in 'announcements'

Re: The Walrus for FS9
Which is why I couldn't find it at BritsimNow released over at Flightsim.com.
Flies well Dave and looks the part.
Hope you don't mind me fiddling already but I found the 2D view FWD impossible to see out of. I know most folk use VC's these days but I still try and use 2D whenever possible. I've changed the default view from 8191/6142 to 8191/3586. There's still a little 'taildragger' effect when on terra firma but at this setting, you can actually see the runway when the tail lifts now
Well done mate.. I like it
(only tried it in FS9 btw)
