Hi Colin,

I've just dropped Reg an email with a copy of the note I'd been trying to get across to Barry. I'm wondering if my emails to Barry are going to his Junk folder or similar. Anyway, hopefully Reg will be able to forward it on. :)

Cheers,

Ben.

Hi Chaps,

Decided to do my own T2's as the ones at Thurleigh have the windows in a different position to Ted's...

I think for something different I'm going to work on the Vulcan dispersal at the East side next. I've a fair bit of material, and given that there are some AI Vulcans kicking about (courtesy of John Young) it would be rude not to have a few.

End game should be... Harriers should be using the VTOL pad; the Vulcans and other research kit should be using the main runway; Helicopters will be using the helipad, once I get confirmation of its location; And the Navy will use RW 24 and RW 25. That's 4 AFD files  It should be busy!

Hi I am new to this so hope ths gets out to you. I was an craft apprentice at Bedford from 1962 and worked at the tower until leaving in 1970.
The yellow bits are masts, the one by the tower was the radio mast for the ground/air communications.
The one at the end of the main runway would be the glide path aerial for the ILS.

Looking forward to your FSX model as I had some fantastic times there, 1127, BAC221, FD2 etc etc what a great time!! :welldone:

DECCA could be the Plessy 424 radar, RAR ? could that be PAR which was the 'talk down' radar.
Radar frequencies would never be shown, I worked on all the radio nav aids, so will start trying to remember about them
