Still can't compile this to show in situ, so here are a couple from the 3D view in FSDS3.5.1 :

What happens when you import it in MCX? Is it viewable?

Hi Ben,
Can't import into MCX as FSDS hasn't been able to create the MDL. (can't find XtoMDL)
At last I've received a support response. It lists all the steps you need to have done, permissions etc. but ignores the given fact that it was working, and that the XtoMDL and BGL.Comp files are in the SDK, but when I'm asked to set the path, neither of those files will appear; only the folders .
I've already deleted all the SDK and reinstalled from FSX Deluxe through each step to SDK2, and removed FSDS, unzipped the download and completely reinstalled, only to have it repeat the problem identically.
Anyway, all I can do is go through it all again. It's going to be a long night. :cpu:

Oh, and you two guys heckling from the cheap seats: You're just a couple of breakers.

Nice work Mike.. you have far more get up and go than me

I've moved this thread to the Developers forum.. it seemed a bit out of place in E&S ;)

Hi Mike,

What other formats can FSDS save the model as?

Hi Mike,

I might be talking drivel, but is it not possible to export to SCASM from FSDS? If so MCX can read this in for you I think.

Ben,
Firstly, I would never interpret any of your wise words as drivel.
I have option to export .x or XML, or a header.
Export SCASM? Is this "a rose" by another name?

DaveB,
I thought that Developers Corner was restricted to CB (but then, maybe Barra is classic) no matter.
