Airfield Construction Group - RAF Wattisham

Post by stevo »

John Young and I have been building our latest project since the beginning of the year and would like to share some screenshots of it as it currently stands will all here at cbfs. Everything is custom built from the buildings, ground polygons to the AI phantoms. Not finished yet but is relatively close to beta stage.

Please Enjoy

Although my time at Wattisham with 23 Sqn phantoms pre dates the HAS sites, I am looking forward to this one, superb.

Shy boys get nowt Dave

I'd really love to get the cats at Thurleigh working, but the other option is to bastardise an airfile on an ai aircraft to give it STOL characteristics so as it looks like its been CAT launched. *-)

:-O :-O

Hmm.. better if it's a tail-hook/carrier aircraft too. I can sit and watch Phantoms cat launch all day

The NAD Phantom was indeed a proper RN aircraft,

Looks very nice!

Don't remember the base - I only went there once during my old man's 3 year posting there (EES), must have been about 1975. I do remember kipping on the back seat of the car (Triumph Herald :) ) all the way home, though!

I'm going to really enjoy flying the IRIS Phantoms from here.
