I should say so

I've seen the RAS aircraft many times at Duxford and it's always so well presented, you can imagine the pilot wearing slippers

If I were an active pilot on our VA.. I'd snap a shed load of these up to extend the routes 'later' flown by the Rapides. Depending on the interest, I could still snap a dozen or so up for the VA but it would require someone with a paint brush to paint the fleet :shhh:

Ah..

Now we're getting more detail, it's difficult to see it from that slightly ropey shot  I'm sure you'll have seen this but here's a link to ECAN in flight.. http://www.plane-mad.com/aviation-photo ... 41286.html

The tail wheel is a bit.. err.. well.. lets say making it solid might have looked better. It's not very big either (on the real one). Difficult to see on the screenie but the reg should have a red outline and green interior. It may have been done like that but I really can't see on the screenie. *-) I'll still take a handful though

Thanks Dave - it takes a fresh set of eyes sometimes to spot the obvious ie.the wheel size and the red outline (not very visible on the shots I have) :$ .

Re. the reg colours - I've just knocked up a new version now with the red outline to show the effect - needs a bit of tweaking of the lines.
Still plenty to do, so ...
Cheers

Thanks Dave - they're new to me :)
Any chance you or a.n.other can identify the maker of the props from the logos ? I may the be able to find a sharp logo pic and put it on the props.
BTW -I found that the red 'airways' beneath the 'Eastern' is too small for me to reproduce so I've had to leave it off. :(
Cheers

I expect they would be new to you Dave, as I took those a while back & haven't posted them anywhere!
Just going back over some shots to see if I've got a better one of the prop logo.
