Brian Horsey - he's produced the F.D.E. work for a number of aircraft found on this site.
Funny thing that Keith - I've just been looking at a number of B2 photos from Old Warden ...

A strange efffect has been reported. If flown at speeds above 65knots with the frame rate set to below ca. 25 f.p.s. longitudinal oscillation occurs. Anything above that and all is steady. This effect happens in FS9 only. Why is a total mystery to me. Answers anybody ?
Cheers :cheers:

Just done some crude experiments & recalculated the MoI values IAW the FS9 SDK.
SDK calc:
pitch=904
roll =421
yaw =982
Experimental values to obtain stable flight with fps set to 20 & these are good up to 140 mph IAS - vertical dive! (above that oscillation occurs)
pitch=4500
roll =1600
yaw =1800.

Fps set to 15 in FSX with published values are OK, so why only in FS9?

Why at all Keith ? - what is the connection between the M.O.I. figures in the config file and the screen frame rate and why the slower the f.p.s. the worse the wobble ? and why does toast always land the wrong way up ?? :help:
Cheers :cheers:

I presume your toast has already been buttered & coated with your favourite spreadable stuff, if that is so then try dropping your toast from twice the height of that where it fell face down.....& see if the result is the same.

I've posted a correction aircraft.cfg file for the Avian to the Flightsim library using the new values. It should appear in the next day or so.
Thanks Keith .

Although Dave is modest about it, he has other, secret manufacturing projects under development. A clandestine photo was obtained for one of his latest :guinn: :
