So, where have we got to ?

Image
Following on from your much appreciated beta testing, these items have either been fixed etc.
1) Rudder extent of travel problem fixed. The tailwheel still swivels though.
2) The tailwheel now rotates when the aircraft moves along the ground.
3) The engines startup smoke has been repositioned and improved (thanks Keith)
4) I don't know of a sound fix to increase the exterior noises when the windows are opened. Can't find that
on any of the FS9 aircraft (ie. D.H. Comet racer). Also my sound knowledge approximates to zero.
5) The pole protruding under the fuselage near the cabin isn't an aerial - I've approximated its construction
Actual poor photos seem to show more of a structure - a odd venturi perhaps - not the pitot head, that's out on the
starboard wing. On Envoys with wireless aerials, they show simple wire dipoles or similar.
6) The next build will be a MK3 Envoy. These mainly used the Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah IX engines inside large blister -type
full cowls. These gave a top speed of 180 + KTS, cruising at 160 kts.
It should be mentioned here that Airspeed offered their customers a choice of at least 4 different engine types and highly customised
interiors - as was the custom of British light aircraft manufacturers at that time. Each aircraft being hand-built essentally to order -which give we model devs plenty of scope for invention with no fear of being wrong. ;)
7) The Oxford has yet to be looked at by comparing existing fltsim models to see if I can offer any improvements .

So, thanks again for your invaluable help and comments. I shall wait until sometime next week for any oher comments before releasing this
model to the world. !
Cheers

Unfortunately I've always been called 'Mol' 'Moly' or 'Mr Mol' Keith, so it seemed somehow appropriate. :$
