I've cheated with those two conversions.
Found a program over on the MSFS forums which you point to a FSX simobjects folder and it automatically creates the package for you. Some convert better than others. The Spit worked pretty much perfectly, but the Rapide has some texture and clickspot issues. The Mosquito was pretty good, but Hunters wouldn't show at all. :dunno:
They all seem to be sitting a bit low in the camera view and obviously the flight dynamics are off, although they seem better than I was expecting.

Here's the prog I used:
https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/fs ... e/165910/7

It's a VS file, so it'll need compiling.

I've noticed bump mapping doesn't seem to be working with the FSX mdls though.

Its good to see everyone back in various states of disarray

Seems like all it takes is a common new toy to set us all off again :cpu:

Hi George, you need to be in developer mode and have the developer camera switched on. Once you have that done you need to create a project, and in scenery mode, when you click on "load in editor" it puts you in a top down view. I only discovered this by going through DragoB's tutorial.
Where is "load in editor"? :dunno:
