Have you installed anything from Cloud 9 lately. They use esellerate. I had one of their packages installed then took it out. It left all kinds of debris lying around which came up with registration warnings on loading FS. I'm not aware of anyone else who uses esellerate.

Have you run most of these in safe mode? You need to do this in order to zap the registry bugs. If you don't the prog will re-install every time you boot up. Just a thought.

Try any of these links, they might come in handy:

http://www.wideview.it/webstore.htm
http://www.wideview.it/faq.htm

http://www.esellerate.net/faq.asp

Or try opening the registry by typing regedit in the Run box

Place the cursor at the top-level (My Computer) and do a search (CTRL-F) for esellerate....

Wow - guys my wee brain cell is staring to hurt here

Okay, I have done a registry search and no trace of esellerate (so what does that tell me? ) I assume it has to be somewhere?

I haven't installed a cloud 9 product since Aviano was released.

Going to lie down in a dark area :-({|=

Cheers

Well as the message indicate, it cannot be found, so it might be really un-usefull to search after it....

What would be more interesting, is what is causing this message.....

Normally a new panel install or a full-model install or even a sound-pack install could create such a message as the developer has forgotten to include the relevant file in his/hers package....

Due to the fact that is in the initializing phase of FS, my best guess is that it has to do with a more generic item that eg. a panel.. that would create a message or crash if you where to select a specific aircraft...

It must have something to do with a generic thing....have you tried to see if there is any indications in the fsuipc.log (in the modules folder)

Can't come to think of any thing more at this time.....

whoops...just found this as well...

http://www.spywaredata.com/spyware/malw ... ne.dll.php

http://www.fixerlabs.com/New_Website/pages/techfaq.htm (about half-way down)

Or try even here:
http://www.esellerate.net/esellerate_update.asp

Well it seems to a part of a e-sales system that a developer can implement in his/hers product, thus enabling the client to register via the internet or something the like....but obviously the developer has either forgot to include this dll, that should be used for on-line registration, or it has accidental been removed.....

That's what you get for doing payware.. ;-) do like me and "purchase" ONLY free stuff....;-) no seriously, I hope you will get to the bottom of this hopefully with the support of either these links or at esellerate themselves. good luck.

You can find a copy of the needed dll here:

http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-fil ... nload.html

or here:
http://www.driverskit.com/dll/esellerat ... l/760.html

But you can get it through a lot of sources. If you do a google search on esellerateengine.dll you'll see what I mean:
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=n ... gine%2Edll

A general description of the purpose of this is described here:

Hi Dan,

Thanks mate!! I downloaded the dll and popped it into the Windows folder, and presto no message and the sim
started up without pause. Unfortunately it didn't create a log (as with fsuipc), so I have as yet been unable to identify
which panel, aircraft or scenery needs this utility. I can only surmise that during a Ccleaner or Spyware
Doctor run, the dll got deleted and resulted in the annoying message.

I'll get PC World to check into this during the previously mentioned health-check.

Once again to all of you who have endeavoured to assist me with this, a great big thank you.

Much appreciate all the time you have taken.

All the best

Stewart
