New Shackleton DVD

Post by henk hugo »

Hey guys!

A new South African produced DVD on Shackleton 1722 was launched last night. It has a whole chapter on WR977 at Newark and an interview with Brian Withers!

For more info go to http://www.shackletonfilm.co.za/

Does anybody remember the BBC series "Perpetual Motion". It was about things that had had (at the time) an extended working life. The two programmes I remember were on the Shacketon & Morris 1000.

Henk, if you haven't seen it I can send you a DVD copy on the Shackelton (less the last 3 mins). Just PM me your addy.

Oh yes...have it on Video. There was also another on the DC3 which featured Jimmy Edwards, (who??..ask your Dad  ) who flew them in WWII.

The Shackleton recording dates from 1992, & the Dakota from '94 so your memory it top rate to remember the 'Shack' one

Bob
