On the local lunch time news today (Wed) there was a brief article on XH558 which stated that, weather permitting, first flight would be tomorrow. Click below and fast forward to 7m15s: EDIT: I’ve removed the link as the lunch time bulletin has now been superseded by the evening one, which sadly doesn’t contain the article on XH558.
Considering the date is being kept from general release, I doubt TVOC would have released it to the Beeb. From other fora I think it may be more fast taxi runs tomorrow...
Just been reading the TVOC forum. There are some very optimistic people on there stating tomorrow(17th) is THE day. Lets hope it is tommorrow. If so then best wishes lads..! :partyman:
I suffer from paranoid amnesia. I can't remember who I don't trust.
I'm reminded of that scene in 'The Dambusters' where we saw the aircraft sitting on their pans as the momentous day dawned over Scampton. If you've seen it, you'll know what I mean, and tomorrow it will be Bruntingthorpe's turn.
I can scarcely imagine whats going through their minds at TVOC in these final hours. What a long tortuous journey it has been for them. All the very best of luck to everyone involved.
