The ideal CB flypast?

Hi all

Just pondering. In an ideal world, what aircraft would you like to see together in a flypast?

As a start, I would suggest perhaps:

Spitfire, hurricane, lancaster, beaughfighter, mossie, meteor, vampire, hunter, lightning, buccaneer, and of course the three V's.

Anyone care to add?

Does that mean that Concorde wouldn't be welcome in such a flypast? ;-)

All civvie stuff for me I'm afraid. :)

VC-10, Comet, Trident 1/2/3, Viscount, Britannia, Hermes, Ambassador, 748, 1-11 and all lead by Concorde.

Now that would be nice. Just imagine the racket?! :tunes: :tunes:

What about a FAA flight too (that's Fleet Air Arm not that yankee outfit! ) coupled with Coastal Command.

You could have Vampires, Vixens, Venoms, Buccs, Sea Hawks etc. and for the heavier side a Shack, Nimrod and Sunderland!

A trio of Mosquitos leading the way for a Lancaster, followed by a trio of Beaufighters.
A trio of made up of a Hawker Typhoon, Tempest and Sea Fury.
A Sea Vixen flanked by two Venoms and two Vampires.
A diamond 9 of Hunters, lots of different colour schemes, preferably F6's to get a lovely blue note.
A pair of FAA Buccaneers buddy refuelling an RAF pair.
A Valiant flying a vee formation with a pair of Canberras.
A trio of Victors, followed by a single Vulcan making a diamond formation
A Hercules four ship flanked by an Andover four ship
A diamond 9 of Lightnings, again lots of different colour schemes.
A Shackleton with a Jet Provost and a Gnat off each wing
A pair of Tornado F3's taking fuel from a VC-10
A four ship of Meteors
A pair of Tornado GR4's taking fuel from a Tristar
A pair of Nimrod MR2's following an MRA4
A four ship of Jaguars followed by a four ship of Hawk T1's
A Typhoon flanked by a pair of Hawk 128's
A pair of AAC Lynx followed by a pair of FAA Lynx
A pair of RAF Chinooks and a pair of RAF Merlins
An RAF Wessex and RN Wessex followed by an RAF Sea King and RN Sea King
Concorde flanked by a VC-10 and Comet
The Red Arrows and the Black Seahawks together

Well you did say in a perfect world. :welldone:

Incidentally I'm aware plenty of them weren't designed and built in Britain but if they have served in our armed forces then that's a British enough connection for me, otherwise we'd be living in a sad world of no future classics. But these are my favourites anyway and my imagination did run wild a bit. :goodman:
