Anyone able to recommend payware/freeware carriers for FS9?

Hi Jim,

The amount of payware carriers are few and far between but you might like a look at the Alphasim Enterprise. The only others I can think of come with Abacus FlightDeckIII and IV. Freeware, get your hands on HMS Ark Royal IV from Allnodes (complicated setup but worth it when done) or go over to FSshipyards.com.

Enterprise has a few locations around the globe as do the Abacus models. Btw.. FlightDeckIII comes with Arrcab and FD4 comes with the latest version and is FSX compat. Ark IV has 4 locations.

These freeware French carriers aren't too bad. Site is only in French though!

Jim..

There is another payware one I missed off (odd as I have it too).. USS Belleau Wood, again from Alpha. This is a helicopter carrier and comes with loads of locations and addons (inc AI helo's) :)

Thanks Guys :)

I'll have a mooch around later and plump for something as an initial 'goer' and see how I get on ;-)

If you like to fly helicopters or Ospreys or a chancy do in a Chipmunk try the 'Tarawa Fleets and Missions' by L B Martin from 'all nodes'. This is for FS9 and shows some excellent use of 'EZ Scenery' placement and effects for numerous situations in Bosnia, N Korea, South Africa, Iraq, Panama and Haiti. You could use the UKmil Wasp or other Uk helicopter. Lots of decks to operate from. You also get to fly down into the core of a volcano - non active of course!!

Hi Folks

Apologies if you'd tried to access FS-Shipyards over the past 3 days.
Our ISP had a problem, now resolved.

There's some carriers & addons at - FS-Shipyards - Downloads - Carriers
