That was the one and only Valiant B2 built to fly at low level :dancer:

it was decided there was no need for low level bombers so it was not ordered. :-(

Later that found they needed low level bombers to attack undetected. :doho:

Note the different main undercarriage :dancer:

I think a C-119 is more likely Leif. Farnborough used to provide one for the press.

I loved the bit where the press wallahs ducked as the Valiant roared over. :lol:

A superb HU...pity there was no sound...but very interesting none the less.

My local bargain shop has the Farnborough 1948-59 DVD going for £3.99. One is going out to Japan next week!

C-119 makes sense as I was puzzelled in one of the shots where they panned across and there seemed to be a tailplane stretched across in front of them. :think:
