One of the classics from the Carol Burnett show.

That was all done live in 1 take. Took everything the "patient" (Harvey Korman if I remember correctly) had to keep a straight face because Tim Conway is such a good comedian.

Oh man! There ought to be a health warning on this thread! :o

I watched the links above and then started clicking on associated clips and found this gem....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qqE_Wma ... re=related

I laughed so hard that I ended up gasping for breath and had tears literally rolling down my cheeks!

Absolutely classic ad lib genius, Tim Conway's timing is outstanding (you can see him waiting and watching for just the right time to drop his next bombshell) and Vicky Lawrence's final line is just pure comedic brilliance and obviously straight off the cuff.

I used to be a College Media Studies Lecturer and taught video making amongst other things and know first hand just how difficult things can get when the cast starts 'corpse-ing' like that and those guys did it to each other week in and week out...it's a wonder they ever got anything in the 'can'! I am just glad someone saved the out-takes so we can enjoy them again and again.

Comedy at it's best! :welldone:

Great clip! I remember watching Carol Burnett all the time with my family when I was growing up (try doing that with today's crop of shows!) I forgot how much I loved the Conway/Korman combo. Simpler times....

As many of you know dental treatment is not cheap these days so I found a link that will help you to negotiate a better price.
