My doctor's advice is that you should not have a PSA test unless you already show symptoms of an enlarged prostate.
Interesting. My doctor's approach was that since I was of a certain age, it was time to have the PSA test. In fact, I had the test two consecutive years because it was still on the list of tests from the previous year. However on both occasions the esult was so low, she has now told me there is no point in being tested further.

That's a relief but it could have been so different.

Many thanks for your comments and support folks

Movember is done, can't decide whether to let it nurture for a bit longer or shave it off, it itches like hell

I'll keep it for a few days while I trawl up the donations ;)

Thanks folks :hello:

Not measly Derek, but a very welcome addition to the fund I'm sure.

Well done.

Which reminds me of a time when I was in a team collecting for the "Wings" appeal. In the local (at that time) RBL Club, one soul stated, "You will get nothing from me, 'cos you b*%$*^*s bombed me durin the war."

I assured him that giving wasn't compulsory and we were grateful for any donation, but also that I hadn't bombed him during the war 'cos if I had I wouldn't have effing missed."

It's all the little pennies that make the pounds. Well done.
