The Vitty coupes are getting rarer than hens teeth. Nice motor though and same bullet proof T series engine. :)

I have a strange but very strong desire for a 220 Turbo Coupe!

I'll have to leave all these revving turbos and superchargers to you youngsters, now. I'm getting too old for it. :( But have I shown you the present Mrs. Speedbird's wheels? It may not match these vRS Skodas on performance but it's very, very pretty and as near as you can get to a modern classic without bankrupting yourself.

It's the perfect accessory for trophy wives, hairdressers and old dudes who would like to feel the wind in their hair (if they had any! hair - not wind.). I get to use it once a fortnight to take it to the petrol station and back to buy the fuel

The MX-5 is a brilliant car in my opinion, the best 'British' (ie, RWD, light, soft top) sports car you can buy since the demise of TVR. Of course you'll always be called a hairdresser though

Get it supercharged too!

Which isn't difficult... ;)

A 5.0 V8 TVR Griffith or a 4.5 V8 Cerbera thats what I need. No traction control, no ABS. Puts hairs on the chest! One day...

Very much so, they did the Cerb with the TVR straight six too but it has reliability issues to say the least!

I think most have now been rebuilt and are reliable (for a Tiv) but from the factory they were very bad.

Shame that Russian brought them out as a play thing and ripped the company to pieces :(

Sorry to bump but I thought one of the enthusiasts would already have found the Car of the Year:

In a pathetic little banana republic far far away...

There are plenty of em up in the Northern Hemisphere Paul. While I agree, it wouldn't be my first choice for an SUV but I'm not an SUV sorta bloke anyway. ;)
