Well.. I did and I didn't Joe. Plugged it into the pc as instructed from the TomTom website.. installed the pc software.. tried to download the latest bits to the 'GPS' (we call em Satnav's over here mate) and it said it kept losing connection.. this on my daughters i5 notepad 'hard wired'! The end result was a naffed satnav. I tried again on my pc (wireless).. same thing. Eventually, I went to the office pc (hard wired) and I'm not sure if it actually got the bloody thing back or if that was because I reset it It's working again so I left it at that Two hours of fun and frolic wasted followed by 6hrs of Harry PotterGood to hear you sorted your Tom Tom, Dave.
Reality check Brian, Sam's mum and step-dad are off to Venice for a week, as you do, so I only agreed to babysit on the understanding that they gave him a huge Xmas dinner before they left so I wouldn't have to feed him.....his xmas pressies cost me and arm and leg and anyway, he'll be too busy with the household chores, he won't have time to use them.........FlyTexas wrote:That's a great gift Derek.
