Wan**ers like him only have an eye to political correctness whch they think will appeal to their target audiences.Answer, boycoot his films. He doesn't like the UK's attitude over the Falklands but I bet he doesn't mind taking the money from the UK film audiences.Pity there isn't an emoticon with one or two fingers extended .EricT

The fact that we have no aircraft carriers is probably why they have sent an SSBN down there!

The thing with an SSBN is that you don't need to send it down there...jonesey2k wrote:The fact that we have no aircraft carriers is probably why they have sent an SSBN down there!

From a "neutral" point of view - that's perfectly true.DavidK wrote:I believe the overwhelming majority of people living on the Falkland Islands wish them to remain part of Britain's sovereignty.
Shouldn't that be the end of the issue?
People's will is what makes the decision.

Except Governments work to their own agenda and disregard the peoples will.
The UK will support the Falklands but I doubt it just because the people will it.
It would be nice to think so

No question!Garry Russell wrote: The UK will support the Falklands but I doubt it just because the people will it.
But in the international debate it's the will of Falkland Islanders that tips the scales (hopefully!!)...

Better still, he can kiss the camera as it's pulled out of my a*se tomorrow..........

Oops, I was making a personal statement whilst under extreme duress and suffering the effects of heavy medication, I didn't mean to open a can of worms.
The flexible camera jobby went in 70cm....that's an extended arm's length, armpit to fingertip, of my a*se that Mr. Useless needs to kiss.
With respect, of course

My favourite comments on the subject were made by the British ambassador to the UN. He made two very good points.
The Falklands were British before Argentina existed.
If geographical proximity was a valid claim, then Canada would have an equally valid claim on Alaska.
