Great hear you passed Paul. :welldone:

Although you have been accredited with the FAA IR do you have to take a Proficiency Check with an EASA examiner when applying for the CAA IR?

Also, yes, it is question time! What is your next move?

Regards
Nigel.

Ah ha! thanks Mike- that gave me the clue I needed!
This is the aircraft I did the IR in, a PA28-161.

Yes Nigel- I need to now convert it to an EASA IR, but that shouldn't take too long and 75% of it can be simulator work.

Wish me luck chaps, I have my check ride to convert my FAA instrument rating on Sunday!

Keep your fingers crossed for the weather, doesn't have to be that good, just no fog!

Hi!

Yes I did- big relief. The weather wasn't very helpful, so was very pleased when my NDB holds were pretty tight to the numbers!

That's brilliant news Paul, really pleased for you. A very good effort considering the weather, so some celebrations will be forthcoming!

Do you have any further plans or training to look forward to?

Regards
Nigel.
