Never sat between 4 Merlins just 4 Bristol Centaurus a few times with cotton wool rammed in the lugholes.
One of my brother's in law was on the BBMF for a couple of years he said he avoided flying in the Lanc if he could, wish I had got the chance.

One of our members here, Brian Withers, had many hours as a pilot on Shacks before moving to the Nimrod.. a consequence of which is that certain ranges of his hearing are well and truely k'nackered My hearing is knackered anyway so I'm up for it!

I'd be happy to hear just one idling in my private Hurricane in the top paddock, but then, I'm easily pleased.
