A warning to anyone attending "The Games"
No nudity will be tolerated. no streaking , no sans pants, no freebirding "of it" under kilt.
Also there will be some 500 birdhouses and 100 plus batboxes. so be on the look out for falling deposits
And for your convienence all refreshments will be colour coded so the recyclables will get into the correct container.
Colour blind perople will have to rely on common sense to make sure the aluminum, glass and paper containers are put in the respected bins
Thank you and good day.

Nobody seems very keen seemingly, but my view may be colored by the British media which seems very harsh. It was much the same here in Van before our Winter games, but afterward the consensus had changed for the better. I suppose it had a lot to do with our athletes being very successful. I hope the London Olympics will be a success too and all Brits can look back with pride.

I still wish they'd do the decent thing and cancel it.

Oh well. I hear the olympics have new sponsors..
I suffer from paranoid amnesia. I can't remember who I don't trust.

. Eddie!
I don't know what got into me last night, but it's purpose wasn't to flame the UK in any way.
I just got a tickle reading an article about all the things put into place to make the experience of going to the games a more pleasant experience.
Question: How come birds get houses but bats have to live in boxes?
What's up with that!
Dare I ask.

Spotted this on BBC tonight - now vanished: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18800162
What I thought the official version would be like with people running the entire journey, but the Olympic torch whizzed past here in a van - very selective relay.
And didn't I read only Visa cards accepted and only Coca-Cola could be drunk.
And I just love the withdrawal of all those unsold football tickets. Next week they can claim "all sold" to avoid a PR disaster.

So the PM now says austerity will last for 10 years(is anyone surprised?) How on earth can the cost of the Olympics be justified? Personally I would have preferred it if France had been awarded them.I'll bet they are secretly relieved now that they didn't! Now that they are almost upon us I don't wish them I'll but should they turn out to be an expensive disaster,I would take some pleasure from the embarrassment caused to the rather smug and arrogant Seb(Lord) Coe. Oh come on! If we hadn't had the Games we wouldn't have had that brilliantly funny comedy series Twenty Twelve!
Seeing the logo again reminds that when it was first announced somebody likened it to Lisa Simpson performing oral sex on Bart. I thought that they'd drop it after that, but no. Now I can't look at and see anything else. Have a look at it in Eddie's post.
