I know what your going to say upgrade to FSX. As ive said before im happy with FS9.

I wasted a good bit of time trying to download it purely out of interest as I was born within a mile of the west end of the runway and can remember it being extended.

I could not download it, but the Mrs being a real live professor did crack it, a - missing and a _ that should have been -

Like Dave I already have the 2000 version with my own RAF Llandow linked as per the childhood days.

No need to apologise Tom. I do have FSX too and I play in it every now and again which is why I was a bit surprised when you'd been told on a forum that the St Athan at Earthsim was FS9. I have a fair whack of Earthsim stuff and it's all FSX.

I'm sure there have been freeware St Athan bases made over the years though I couldn't find anything worth downloading for you at the main sites.. flightsim.com or Avsim.com. The best option as far as I can see is for you to buy and download the UK2000 version. I know it's money and money you may not have but you get rather more than St Athan in the download.. http://uk2000scenery.com/main/part6.htm

For UK coverage, you can't beat UK2000 scenery.. either for FS9 or FSX

Thanks Dave I know FS9 is old and everyones moving to FSX and Prepar3d. But I wish people wouldnt forget that there's still people who use FS9. There was a DH Venom made recently and it looks really but its FSX only. Simshed is making a HS125 Dominie there is a need for a good one in FS9 but that again is going to be FSX only.
